AGS Names New Committee Chairs and Vice Chairs

The American Geriatrics Society appointed and reappointed Chairs and Vice Chairs to several of its committees during its 2010 Annual Scientific Meeting in May:

Sandra Bellantonio, MD, was appointed Vice Chair of the Education Committee.

Caroline Blaum, MD, was reappointed Chair of the Quality and Performance Measurement Committee.

Moira Fordyce, MD, was reappointed Vice Chair of the Public Education Committee.

Michael Gloth, MD, was appointed Chair of the Health Economics and Technology Committee.

Lisa Granville, MD, was reappointed Chair of the Education Committee.

Irene Hamrick, MD, CMD, FAAFP, was appointed Vice Chair of the Health Economics and Technology Committee.

Michael Malone, MD, was appointed Vice Chair of the Public Policy Committee.

Matt McNabney, MD, was appointed Chair of the Clinical Practice & Models of Care Committee.

Paul Mulhausen, MD, was appointed Vice Chair of the Clinical Practice & Models of Care Committee.

Cynthia Pan, MD, was reappointed Chair of the Ethnogeriatrics Committee.

Joseph Shega, MD, was reappointed Vice Chair of the Ethics Committee.

Thomas Von Sternberg, MD, was appointed Vice Chair of the Quality and Performance Measurement Committee.

The AGS is grateful for the hard work and dedication of its committee Chairs and Vice Chairs. During the annual meeting, outgoing President, Cheryl Phillips, MD thanked outgoing Chairs and Vice Chairs and other committee members who had recently completed their terms.
